Molded Extruded Specialties (MES) is solutions based division of Frank Novak and Sons group companies. MES was developed to meet the ever changing requirement to produce quality OEM parts at deep discounts. We offer a logical progression of design, prototyping, tooling, independent testing, production, warehousing and distribution in both polymer and metal products to OEM’s. These proven system will provide competitive part pricing on a global scale by introducing new technologies, speeding up the production process, limit handling, reducing PPM’s and bettering manufacturing operative procedure.

MES examines over fifty (50) highly engineered and commodity resins for feasibility of each polymer shape. From simple tubes and rods to the most complex geometric shapes, we can prototype a couple lengths or millions of feet. We pride ourselves on quality extruded and molded parts, on time, every time. One stop engineering and tool design, complimented by a full service machine shop, assures timely tool manufacture and development. Good part design is based on tight tolerance, color conformance, surface clarity and part finish. Quality Management System can be tailored to meet ISO 9001 / TS 16949 standards. A fully staffed fabrication secondary operations department delivers extra close tolerance to your cut lengths, decorating, drilling, chamfering and punching needs.

MES is an industry leader when it comes to formed metal components and parts. Our aluminum extrusion capability runs up to 14” press size or 0.100 up to 35 pounds per linear foot. We can run most 6000 series aluminum including 6061, 6063, 6005A and 3005 in T5, T52 and T6. Some of the applications are Industrial Parts, Architectural Products, Electrical Components, Consumer Products and we specialize in Construction and Architectural applications.

In the aftermath of the 2010 Gulf Oil Leak, Frank Novak & Sons Inc. was called upon to aid in the oil containment. Molded Extrusion Specialties worked around the clock for 110 days to create oil boom connectors to contain and help with removing the oil. This innovative division can create parts to meet the needs of any manufacturer.
